At Marblehead Light looking toward Salem Sound and painting the ponderous rocky headlands, what should appear out of the mouth of the harbor but four little racers and their accompanying tender skittering with a brisk wind out toward the first buoy! I tried to capture that extreme contrast in energy, in spirit and in the passage of time. Seeing this painting just makes me happy.
